Albedo by Graph Paper Press is a responsive, magazine-styled theme for online portfolios and blogs that includes a custom post type Portfolios and comes with support for the Sell Media plugin.
This theme supports natively two WordPress 3 menus:
- Primary Menu – right-aligned in the header
- Top Menu – in the upper right corner at top of the page
Graph Paper Press Albedo installs with two custom widgets:
- Sell Media Exif
- Sell Media Social Share
Activating the Sell Media plugin adds four more widgets to facilitate your online sales: Sell Media Featured Items, Sell Media Keywords, Sell Media Recent Items, and Sell Media Similar Items.

The theme incorporates six widgetized areas:

The two Sell Media widget areas become available as soon as you activate the Sell Media plugin.
When you have activated the Sell Media plugin, you will notice a Sell Media module in the WordPress menu that allows you to manage media items as well as creators, licenses and payments.
Please note that you do not need to activate the Sell Media plugin in order to deploy the Albedo theme.

Albedo adds a module to the WordPress menu for its custom post type; Portfolios. The Portfolio post type gives you the same options as a regular post type, including the assignment of WordPress Post Formats, Categories, Tags and Featured Images.

The Theme Options panel serves three horizontal tabs and a reset button:
- General
- Colors
- Layout
- Slideshow
The General settings allow you to upload your logo and favicon. For the headline and body fonts you can choose from about 3 dozen fonts. Font choices are available for preview in the WordPress theme customizer.
The Albedo theme comes with two predefined color schemes: light (default) and dark which you can select at the Color tab, where you also have the ability to add any Custom CSS.
At the Layout tab, you can enter a Blog Description as an introductory message to the blog section on the homepage.
Here you can also set your desired thumbnail orientation – square, horizontal or vertical. And finally you have the opportunity to opt for 2 or 3 column portfolio pages.
This Graph Paper Press Albedo theme supports the standard and gallery WordPress Post Formats. The later will come in handy for post slideshows.
