Reportage by Graph Paper Press is a responsive portfolio theme for photographers and visual artists, but works very well for photo blogs too.
A theme with a responsive design will adapt the presentation of the web page to the screen of the device used by the visitor; be it a desktop, a laptop, a tablet or a smartphone. Hence, such a theme responds to the size and orientation of the screen.
This theme supports natively up two WordPress 3 menus; one left-aligned at the top of the page, the other one right-aligned above just below the first – above the search form.
Graph Paper Press ships its themes as lightweight as possible. For this reason, the theme installs with the default WordPress widgets only. However, the following widgets – among others – are available as plugins from the Graph Paper Press website as well as from the WordPress Plugin Directory:
- GPP Category Slider
- GPP Slideshow
- GPP About You
- GPP Testimonials
- GPP Welcome Message
The theme incorporates seven widgetized areas:
- Sidebar
- Homepage
- Bottom
- four Footer areas
This theme offers the following page templates:
- Default
- Blog
- Full width

The Theme Options panel serves three horizontal tabs and a reset button:
- General Settings
- Colors
- Slideshow
The General Settings allow you to upload your logo and favicon.
For the headline and body fonts you can choose from 26 fonts. Font choices are available for preview from the theme options as well as in the WordPress theme customizer.
You have three choices regarding the thumbnail orientation of your portfolio: horizontal (landscape), square, and vertical (portrait).
The Reportage theme comes with three predefined color schemes: light, dark and clean. In addition, you can add any custom CSS into the text area at the Colors tab.
At the Slideshow tab, you can enable the homepage slider and upload your slides, and optionally add a title, a hyperlink, and caption.
Outside the panel, just below the WordPress Posts module, the theme adds a module for the custom post type Portfolios with its own categories and tags.
This Graph Paper Press Reportage theme supports the standard and gallery WordPress post formats.

The Featured Image is supported partly, meaning the Featured Image will show up on index pages, but not on single post pages as the first image. If you would like to display the Featured Image also as the first image in a single post, you will have to push the Insert into Post button, right next to the Use as a featured image link while uploading the image.
